August marks the beginning of a new year for Providence. On August 2 during the worship hour, we will install our church officers for the class of 2029 and give thanks to the officers in the class of 2026. Ah, the hot days of summer and Providence is enjoying ice cream cups on Sunday, August 2 after worship in the narthex! We are not the “frozen chosen” but the “unfrozen chosen”.

It is hard for me to believe that our summer program is wrapping up and our 2026-2027 school year begins on August 3. The school age children head back to school on August 5.

Join us Thursday, August 13th for our infamous “Swim ‘n Salad” Circle.  We’ll be meeting at Janet Jordan’s home to enjoy a refreshing swim in her new pool and share a variety of delicious salads.
