Providence Presbyterian Church was named by its founders in 1964. The term providence comes from the Latin word providentia meaning foresight or forethought.

In case you haven’t heard, Providence Presbyterian now has an herb garden! It’s the wooden box that you might have noticed out in front of the church between the entrance and exit on Hummingbird Drive.

As we observe Labor Day, we give thanks for the many ways people contribute through their work, service, caregiving, and daily responsibilities. We recognize those who labor in offices, schools, hospitals, businesses, homes, farms, and communities. We also give thanks for those whose work may not always be seen or publicly acknowledged—
