PPC Herb Garden — Providence Presbyterian

In case you haven’t heard, Providence Presbyterian now has an herb garden! It’s the wooden box that you might have noticed out in front of the church between the entrance and exit on Hummingbird Drive.

All members of the church congregation and parents of the CDC kids are welcome to stop by and clip some herbs. There’s quite a bit of basil, as well as some thyme, rosemary and sage.

We’re including a recipe to inspire you. We hope you enjoy!

Summer Alfredo Sauce

Makes 1 1/2 cups Hands-on time: 10 min. Total Time: 15 min.

Serve over hot cooked pasta and grilled vegetables, or toss with hot cooked cheese-filled ravioli.

1 (1.6-oz) envelope Alfredo sauce mix

1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

1 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives

1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil

1 Tbsp. chopped fresh oregano

Prepare Alfredo sauce mix according to package directions. Whisk in parsley and remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.
