From the Session

The process in calling a new pastor has begun. The Session has elected a subcommittee to create a slate for the Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC).

We will be soliciting names from the congregation to be considered for serving on the PNC. The Book of Order recommends that we have women, men, someone representing our children and our youth, folks from the different age groups so that the whole congregation is represented. As you can see, we need YOU. We are hoping to have five folks from the congregation and two from the session to serve on the PNC.

The term to serve may be as quick as one year but typically it is more like a two year commitment with meetings usually weekly.
