Happy May from PPCDC! May is always an eventful month. We start out the month celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week, May 4th through 8th. This year, our 4K graduation falls the same week on May 7th. After that, we will wrap up the school year and prepare for our summer program that will begin on May 26th immediately following the Memorial Day holiday.

Teacher Appreciation Week will be filled with special treats for our teachers!

The children learned so much in April – they studied the life cycle of a butterfly and watched the larvae grow, form cocoons, and finally emerge as butterflies! Such a cool unit they students get to experience!

The 4K are busing preparing for their graduation ceremony. They also had a fun day at Cottle Farms picking strawberries!

We are once again in need of plastic grocery sacks. If you have any you would like to share, please drop them off in the CDC office or outside our door on Sunday morning.

If you have any Riverbanks Zoo passes you would be willing to donate, we would cheerfully accept those as well.
