Outreach & Missions: CDC Sunday - Blessings Abound

What a joy it was to celebrate the Back-to-School Season on Sunday, Sept 11 as we welcomed CDC families in a special worship service and luncheon. Our hearts were full as we enjoyed meeting more, and many new, CDC families and their children who fill the hallways of Providence every weekday. The children shared songs with Dr. Mike and Ms. Donna from their Chapel sessions, which are held each Wednesday, and participated along with all Back-to-Schoolers and teachers in the Blessing of the Backpacks. The morning was capped with a spaghetti lunch, thanks to Fellowship and Families team members.
 
Special thanks go to Rosie Robinson, Nancy Canaday and Sandra Simpson for their leadership and dedication in making this such a wonderful day! We look forward to doing more things with CDC families this fall!
