Music Notes

This year, Ash Wednesday is March 2, and Easter Day is Sunday, April 17; Providence Musicians are working now on music for both Lent and Easter seasons. Plans for special music for Worship include anthems for Chancel Choir. (We have sung only two Lenten anthems in the past three years because of the pandemic closings in 2020 and 2021.) Other Lent and Easter special music this year will be offered by Adult Handbell Choir and by Rosie (oboe), Jerry (baritone horn), Janice (harp), Avery (violin), and possibly a few others.
