PPC Child Development Center
January 2022
This year’s Christmas season was much different than years past when we were all caught up in producing the “best Christmas Pageant yet.” But the exceptional and innovative PPCDC teachers created programs that were videoed and then shared with the families. The 4K class created a live nativity. The 3s dressed as elves and performed their Christmas songs with gusto! The after school children worked on their Christmas music and were able to send all the parents a video of their performance. All the other classes made special ornaments and crafts that the families will cherish as their children grow.
And now we go into a new year—2022. And for the first time since August we have COVID cases in the children and families of PPCDC. So as we prepare for the new year, we will keep the same safety precautions in place that have enabled us to remain open and as safe as possible since the beginning of this pandemic.
We will wear masks in common areas. We will keep the classrooms separate. Only teachers and children will be in the classrooms. No outside activities will be brought into the Center. And we will do our best to follow the latest DHEC and CDC guidance concerning COVID.
And so we welcome 2022.
