Dear Friends, 

This year Easter Day is April 5. March 20 was Spring Equinox, the first day of spring and when day and night are of equal length. The date of Easter Sunday changes each year and is based on the lunar cycle. Easter is celebrated on the first Sunday following the first full moon after the Spring Equinox.
