September 2025

Fall is coming! Let’s talk about new beginnings, fresh routines, and what God is planting in our lives this month.

The word September comes from the Latin “septem” meaning “seven.” It was originally the seventh month of the Roman calendar before January and February were added!

September often feels like a fresh start. The summer winds down, school routines begin again, and we enter a season of preparation—both in nature and in our faith. Just as farmers begin their harvest, we too are invited to gather the fruits of what God has been planting in our lives.

This is a wonderful month to reflect on where God is calling us in the coming season. Are we being nudged toward deeper study, renewed prayer, or acts of service in our community? Let us embrace this time as an opportunity to recommit ourselves to living faithfully—seeking God’s guidance, nurturing one another, andshining Christ’s light in a world that longs for hope.

Consider ways to bless others this month:

Write a note of encouragement to a teacher or student.

Donate food items to a local pantry.

Invite a neighbor to worship with you.

Let this September be a reminder: every ending of one season is the beginning of another as we officially welcome Reverend Teresa Reed as our pastor and in all of it, God is with us.

Blessings to you and your family,

Rosie Robinson
