Holy Casseroley Happenings!

Several exciting things are in the works for Holy Casseroley!

Group CookAthon
Please join us on Saturday, July 15 at 9:00 in the Fellowship Hall for our quarterly group CookAthon event! We should be done by 10:30.

Our goal is to make 10 recipes, which will result in 20 small casseroles. This will give us what we need to ensure deliveries for Sunday, July 16.

All ingredients, pans and labels will be on hand, so all you need to do it show up ready to assemble casseroles! Please email Joanne Masters with you! It’s important that we know how many people are coming, so we can organize the kitchen appropriately.

Can’t make it out to help cook? We will joyfully accept contributions to help cover the cost of ingredients. Just drop a check off to the church designated for Holy Casseroley, or you can make an online donation anytime.

 Holy Casseroley is growing!

We are happy to announce we have just come to an agreement with another church to participate in Holy Casseroley. Saint Andrews Baptist Church will be bringing Holy Casseroley to their neighborhood beginning in July, and we could not be more pleased to have these new friends as our partners in this ministry!

Through the agreement, we have granted a license to St. Andrews for the name, logo and communications materials associated with the program. Talks are underway with another church in Lexington to do the same. If you know of a church that might like to participate in the program, please email Teresa Coles and let her know! Our vision is to see this ministry expand to as many churches as possible, as a demonstration of making God’s love real in their communities.
