September, 2023

It’s September and the beginning of the Church Program Year. I am hoping, as you plan for the 2023-2024 school/church year, that you will include Providence Worship, activities, and events in your schedule. Chancel Choir continues Wednesday evening rehearsals year-round, with a few summer breaks. I want to thank our faithful Chancel Choir singers for your good work all summer. It’s been fun! Our Wednesday rehearsal time will now be 6:15 (instead of the 5:30 time for summer). However, there is no rehearsal on Wednesday, September 6.

Sunday afternoon rehearsals will begin again on October 1, since several September Sundays are unavailable due to Labor Day weekend, Session, etc. Sunday afternoon rehearsal times are as follows:

Instrument Group 4:00

Adult Handbell Choir 4:30

No rehearsal on Session Sundays.

I look forward to seeing all of our musicians regularly soon.

All choirs welcome new members. If you like to sing/play music and you are not in a choir, I hope that you will join us as we lead Worship through music. Let me know if you have any questions. Watch the newsletters, bulletins, and emails for scheduling details for the fall.
